Wherever I lay my hat
Elfenau Park & Café, Berne (Switzerland), late July 2013: Summer 2013 was scorchingly hot most everywhere in Europe. This was our second day in Berne, the cosy capital of Switzerland, and we were seeking shelter from the midday sun in a café in Elfenau Park, a short bus ride to the Southeast from the city. THE thing to do would have been to pack all our belongings in a watertight bag afterwards, jumping the river Aare and letting ourselves drift back downriver to the city centre, like so many hundreds of locals did from everywhere along the river. Would have been, indeed, but - what to do with the hat?
Well, to cut a long story short, I guess I'm a sucker for Gerbera ;-))
