Dublin (Ireland), Moss Street on the corner of Gloucester Street South (south of the River Liffey, that is). I've lived not too far from that corner for the best part of three years, after the beginning of the Financial Crisis, witnessing the valiant struggle of the Irish. I've also been warned off that area, but then it was right between where I worked and the very city centre, some 10 minutes walking distance either way, so I decided to give it a try regardless. And I did not regret my choice at all.
