Trinity

The Trinity College grounds in Dublin are a boon and bane of the city. A major reason for the disastrous traffic situation, sitting as they do right in the way of most every relevant throughfare. But also - and more importantly, of course - such a respite in the fast-paced inner city life. And sporting the stunningly beautiful old Trinity library, the famous Book of Kells and many more items of interest.

Forced to going round the closed area at night time, this ensemble of lights and colours never failed to intrigue me. It can be found on the front of the "Trinity Capital Hotel" on Pearse Street, which is built in, above and around the Central Fire Station, and one of most convenient places to stay in Dublin for a nice weekend on town. And - importantly - also one of the places qualifying to have "Galway Hooker" on draught, one of my favourite microbrew pale ales from - ... well, Roscommon, actually ;-))

This particular photo an exhibition print at Allianz ArtForce4, Munich (10-12/2015). Allianz ArtForceX is an exhibition of all types of art, including music (e.g. to be played at the opening event), and where Allianz employees can submit up to four items for judgement and selection by an external jury. Accepted items are being shown during c10 weeks between mid October and Christmas of the same year in a central location at the Allianz SE premises in Munich-Schwabing, Germany.
